Just Junkin' with my Sisters

I have spent the last 10 days with my extended family. That means 29 of us, bros and sisters and bro and sister-in-laws, parents, siblings...and we have had a blast...literally! Everyone came to our place for the 4th of July because we get into it big time. We love our country and we are proud to be American's!

It also means the sisters got in some junkin' time. We went junkin' West and East of the mountains. For those of you who live in or near the Tri-Cities area in Washington or ever go through there in your travels, the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland is really starting to sport an impressive 'antique mall.' Here are a few of the great shops they are sporting right now:

This is my sister, dumpster diving! We made the day of a shop owner in Buckley, Washington when upon purchasing our treasures we started chatting it up with her. We learned she had just thrown away some tins she didn't want to take the time to clean up. She thought nothing of being asked if we could dumpster dive for them and even provided gloves and a step stool to boot. She thought we were 'a lot of fun' and we 'had made her month.' Nothing like spending time with your sisters...just junkin.'
