Christmas Table

I was finally able to finish my farm table I set out to do back in October. I will post all about getting it put together in a future post. Today I wanted to show you how it has come together for Christmas.
The chairs were fun to dress too..
I enjoyed mixing natural fabrics: muslin, jute, canvas and burlap with nature: lots of pine branches, twigs and swags. I felt a deep desire to have a very natural Christmas this year, decorate as perhaps they would have years ago before Christmas directions were so readily available for purchase. Trying to bring a spirit of simplicity into our home. May the spirit of Christmas follow!

love the rustic tones and the textures. great idea to do the back of the chair, too, it really adds to the whole thing.
